Our Story

Welcome to Amirani Media formerly known as Amirani Films. We set up shop in 1993  to make documentaries for television. We have since diversified into making radio programmes, films for global corporate clients, as well as feature documentaries and even the occasional commercial. Therefore the switch from ‘Films’ to ‘Media’ to cover the full spectrum. New name, fresh new website and new exciting projects and clients.

We specialise in high quality films for a wide range of prestigious international clients. They include the BBC, Channel 4, ITN, France 2, ARTE, National Geographic, Aljazeera, PBS, ARUP and the British Museum. We have over 60 productions in our portfolio. We’re small, but think big. A family business making work imbued with solid traditional values. Our first love, world class documentary, still  lives at the heart of the company while we continue to explore new creative pastures in features, the web and new exciting corporate clients.  We are committed to nurturing and preserving an intimate easygoing environment, in which small teams are given the opportunity to be creative, have fun, and do work to be proud of.
